Event Details:
BMG Rewari Half Marathon 2018 is being organized by Coach Ravinder & Team R4 (Rewari Royal Riders and Runners). It’s part of our endeavor to promote fitness in smaller cities through our initiative Grameen Marathon.
The second edition of the event will have various running distances- 21K, 10Km, 5Km & 3Km. Through this event we are supporting Team R4’s campaign, Miles to Educate- an initiative to educate less-privileged children. It’s a timed run and all the participants will get T-shirt & medal for finishers. For the past decade, India’s running event scene has been largely dictated by the big metros like Bangalore, Delhi, Bombay, Kolkata. But now – it is the mid-tier cities where the masses await the opportunity to embrace fitness, health and running through a professional and organised running platform.
About Rewari:
An automobile industrial hub – geographically standing in the middle of 4 smaller towns – Manesar, Dharuheda, Bhiwadi and Bawal caters to a large population sitting at the edge of wanting a change! A change that is beyond technology and movie halls!
People are excited to participate in activities that work on their lifestyle and health. They have never really bothered about spending a part of their day trying to stay fit. But as they sign up for a running event and go through a couple of training runs – not only does it work on their health and fitness but they indirectly get an opportunity to work on their low self-image! Low self-image that can be raised and worked upon by empowering the women, men and children living in areas where they have always lacked access to good healthcare and education. The BMG Rewari Half Marathon run is the largest initiative in Northern India to promote fitness, lifestyle changes and bring in empowerment in cities that are connected to rural set ups.

► Half Marathon (6:30am start, Min age 18yrs, cutoff time limit 3hrs)- 1400/-
► 10Km Run (6:40am start, Min age 14yrs, cutoff time limit 1:30hrs)- 1200/-
► 5Km Run (6:50am start, Min age 10yrs, cutoff time limit 50mins)- 1000/-
► 3Km Fun Run (7:00am start, Min age 8yrs, non-timed)- 800/-
Registrations close on 30th November 2018 or as soon as the targeted slots are filled.
