Outdoor Monks & Coach Ravinder invite marathoners, running enthusiasts & walkers for an adventurous weekend stay in Himalayas, approx. 8500ft above sea level, For 1st edition of Forest Monk Ultra Run.
Adding thrill & adventure to your weekend stay by including walks and visits to picturesque valley.

Kanatal Tehri (Uttarakhand):
Nestled in the upper reaches of the Himalayan range, Kanatal stands tall at a height of 8500ft above sea level. The hill town offers unhindered views of snowy crests and other stunning mountainous vistas including peaks ranging from Mt. Bandarpoonch to Mt. Nanda Devi. It lies on the Mussoorie – Chamba highway and is gradually emerging as a popular getaway for locals as well as a distinct holiday destination for tourists. The famous Kodia Jungle, is among the main tourist site situated here. This scenic forested area is recognised for its dense and lush forestation, which serves as home to several animals and birds. You can easily spot wild boars, ghorals, musk deer and barking deer while roaming here for sightseeing. Trek to one of the famous Shakti peethas “Surkanda Devi” is a delight itself and with availability of numerous water activities at the Tehri Dam nearby add to become a perfect blend, which one seeks on a perfect leisure cum adventure getaway.

Travel options:
The registration fee doesn’t include travel expenses.
If you opt to travel from Dehradun to Kanatal, transport cost will be as follows –
► 2,800/- per vehicle per day for a strength of 4 people (Vehicle type – Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios, similar)
► 3,800/- per vehicle per day for a strength of 6 people (Vehicle type – Innova, Ertiga, similar)
► 4,800/- per vehicle per day for a strength of 12 people (Vehicle type – Tempo Traveler)
If you opt to travel from Delhi to Dehradun, we will provide you with A.C bus tickets for which the price would be
► A.C Sleeper tickets – 600/- per person one side.
► A.C Semi – Sleeper tickets – 450/- per person one side
Medical & Hydration support:
Hydration stations, ambulance and mobile support will be available through the course.
Participants’ Takeaway:
The participants will get an event t-shirt, finisher medal and certificate
Note- All the participants and Guardians (in case of minor participants) will sign a waiver form during expo. This is a tough run. The participant should be physically fit & mentally tough.
